International media days with DUOPOWER and an Olympic winner

The fischer Group of Companies is successfully establishing its international media days as part of its internationalisation strategy. A delegation from Brazil and Portugal visited fischer from the 3rd until the 7th July. The journalists write for renowned specialist magazines and public media in their countries. The three-time Olympic medallist and fischer brand ambassador Michael Jung played a significant role in the event.

The Czech fixing systems market has been growing continuously for years. This is of particular benefit to the Czech subsidiary of the German fixings specialist fischer. A new modern production facility was inaugurated at the Ivanovice na Hané site in the presence of the Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka.

755 million Euro in revenue – fischer continues to grow

The group of companies recorded a significant growth in revenue of plus 6.2 percent in the 2016 financial year. Revenue reached 769 million Euro on a currency-adjusted basis. The internationalization strategy is being continued. fischer is able to boast a training ratio of nine percent, thereby training a disproportionately high number of apprentices. A revenue of over 800 million Euro is predicted for the current financial year.
