The FiXperience design software from fischer enables fast, precise and economical planning and design of the various fischer connection and reinforcement solutions. In this way, the tool makes a significant contribution to the structural safety of buildings. With the WOOD-FIX module within the FiXperience Suite, connections and reinforcements using fischer screws can be designed, as well as the fastening of façade or over-roof insulation systems. Just a few inputs and clicks reliably lead to the required verification in each case.

As a free module of the FiXperience software family, WOOD-FIX allows simple, code- and approval-compliant design of timber connections and reinforcements using fischer screws. In addition, fastenings for over-roof insulation systems for three different roof shapes can be calculated quickly and easily. The tool automatically determines the wind and snow loads to be applied – in Germany, entering the postal code is sufficient. In total, ten different modules or applications are available for structural timber construction.

For approval-compliant design of fastenings for timber façade substructures to solid external walls, the FiXperience program suite also includes the FACADE-FIX module. This module enables the design and planning, with all required verifications in accordance with applicable guidelines, of fastenings for ventilated rainscreen façades with timber substructures using long-shaft anchors.

Overall, the fischer FiXperience design software supports planners, structural engineers and tradespeople across a wide range of disciplines in planning fastening solutions for their applications in a targeted and cost-optimised manner. In addition to the desktop version of the anchor design program C-FIX (single-user and network versions), fischer also offers an online browser-based version. The software meets current European design standards, including national application documents and standards, and in some cases even takes globally applicable requirements into account. The modular structure of the FiXperience Suite includes both powerful engineering software and specialised application modules for different, specific fields of use and trades.
