From 24 to 27 February 2026, DACH+HOLZ once again served as a central meeting place for the roofing and timber construction industry. Numerous visitors came to the fischer booth 304 in Hall 9. Covering an area of around 160 m², the fixing expert impressed with innovations, practical applications and interactive elements. The broad spectrum ranged from product premieres to proven classics – always with the clear invitation to experience them directly on site. Interactive craftsman and professional challenges, promotions and live demonstrations provided additional action at the booth.
"Our appearance at DACH+HOLZ was a complete success – with intensive discussions, enthusiastic feedback and great interest in our solutions for roof and timber construction," summarises Michael Geiszbühl, Managing Director of fischer Deutschland Vertriebs GmbH. "The exchange with partners, customers and new prospects provided valuable impetus and numerous promising follow-up activities."
Great stand action
Interactive craftsman and professional challenges, promotions and live demonstrations made the stand a crowd puller. The hourly craftsman challenges provided a special dynamic: two teams of two competed against each other and completed a typical timber construction application against the clock. The task was to attach a ceiling substructure made of wooden slats to a wooden structure – including overhead installation. With the FAFS adjusting screw, alignment was smooth and precise, and screwing in was quick and easy. The format was moderated by Jens Pflüger (ARD, hr, among others) together with fischer application engineer Roberto Weyda. Attractive prizes awaited the daily and challenge winners, including a fischer table football table every day. The hands-on area, where products were extensively tested in wood, concrete and vertically perforated bricks, was also very popular. Among the products on display was the FGW 90F fastening tool, which numerous visitors used to drive nails into wood efficiently and safely.
High expectations
The wide range of fischer wood construction, chipboard and special screws attracted a great deal of interest. Designs with different head shapes, drives and materials for a wide range of applications were on display. The PowerFast II and PowerFull II wood construction screws impressed with their safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Among the chipboard screws, the PowerFast II scored highly thanks to its many possible applications, which include wood-to-wood and wood-to-metal connections as well as processing with tested and partially approved loads in fischer plastic anchors. New additions: the PowerFast II variants made of A2 and A4 stainless steel for permanent outdoor applications. Also in focus: the PowerFast II stepcountersunk head screw, which can be screwed into the wooden component flush with the surface in accordance with its approval and achieves almost the same head pull-through load capacity as disc head screws – for a reduced variety of variants in stock. The portfolio was supplemented by newly designed packaging with an optimised colour coding system for even faster orientation in stores.
The right chemistry
The FIS EM Plus injection system for bonding FIS A anchor rods or flush-mounted FIS IG internally threaded anchors attracted a great deal of attention. It enables the transfer of high tensile loads and a wide range of applications in timber engineering. The construction chemicals range for filling, sealing and bonding also met with great interest. The PU foams and adhesive and sealant solutions speed up work processes, increase processing reliability and guarantee long-lasting, clean results. Particularly in demand: the new PU-P EVO foam, which professional users can process without PU safety training due to its isocyanate content of < 0.1%. Quick-assembly and well foams with the new user-friendly fischer FixAdapter underlined the focus on safety, convenience and efficiency.
Solar dreams come true
The new PV clip system including the FSMN M8 R sliding nut was also in high demand, opening up new possibilities for PV façades – both for direct fixing to concrete and load-bearing masonry and in combination with substructures made of wood, steel and aluminium. Another visitor favourite: solar systems for the safe installation of PV systems on roofs.
Firmly connected
The trade fair presentation was rounded off by comprehensive service offerings for planners, tradespeople and dealers. The FiXperience design software was presented, in particular the WOOD-FIX module for the quick and approval-compliant design of timber construction applications.
