fischer BAUBOT has secured a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title. In 24 hours of continuous operation, the Baubot drilled 3,717 holes in concrete in wall, floor, and ceiling applications — setting new standards for construction robotics. The robot impressed with its high precision, endurance and practical performance.

fischer BAUBOT has official been awarded the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the most holes drilled by a semi-autonomous robot within 24 hours. During the certified record attempt on 10 and 11 September at its own test centre in Traiskirchen, Austria, 3,717 fully completed holes were drilled in concrete.

"The GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title is a great recognition for our Baubot, as well as for the expertise and dedication of our employees," says Matthias Schneider, Managing Director of Digital Services/IT at the fischer Group of Companies. "The title affirms our commitment to continue developing innovative robotics solutions that make construction sites around the world safer and more efficient. Construction robotics is key to the future of building — and this world record demonstrates the potential of our Baubot."

Victor Rodionov, Managing Director of Baubot GmbH, says: "This award is a milestone for construction robotics. With 3,717 verified drill holes in three directions — wall, floor, and ceiling — within 24 hours, the Baubot has proven that semi-autonomous drilling has reached a new level of practicality, precision and uptime."

Each drill hole met the specified requirements: a minimum diameter of 10 mm and a depth of 50 mm — with no overlaps allowed. During drilling, the robot demonstrated reliable performance in all three directions. The Baubot operated continuously for the full 24 hours, with only brief, scheduled stops for tool and drill bit changes — demonstrating exceptional reliability and endurance. The world record was achieved in full compliance with all safety and testing requirements. Verification was carried out by independent witnesses and an official Guinness World Records adjudicator, who confirmed the result in accordance with the official guidelines.

"With this GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title, we are demonstrating: our Baubot works reliably and delivers real added value in everyday construction work," says Matthias Schneider. "This sends a strong signal to builders and clients that our Baubot is ready for demanding tasks on the construction site."
