Fastening expert fischer at DACH+HOLZ International

Raising the bar in roofing and timber construction

Waldachtal

From 24 to 27 February 2026, DACH+HOLZ International will once again be the central meeting place for the roofing and timber construction industry – and fischer will be right in the middle of it, at booth 304 in Hall 9. On 157 m², visitors can expect a wide range of the latest products and proven classics for roofing and timber construction – hands-on testing is expressly encouraged. A dedicated hands-on area invites visitors to try out products themselves. Shows, activities and live demonstrations will provide additional crowd appeal.

Hourly tradesperson challenges combined with product presentations will ensure plenty of action at the fischer DACH+HOLZ booth. The format will be hosted by Jens Pflüger (among others ARD, hr) and fischer application engineer Roberto Weyda. Two teams of two will compete against each other, racing against the clock to build a typical timber construction application – including demanding tasks such as overhead installation. The FAFS adjustment screw for infinitely adjustable stand-off installations will be used, along with other fischer screws. Teamwork, dynamism and speed are key. Attractive prizes await the daily and challenge winners, including a fischer table football game every day as a special highlight. The hands-on area also invites visitors to test fischer products themselves in wood, concrete and perforated brick. Also on display: the FGW 90F setting tool, which enables nails to be driven into wood efficiently, economically and safely.
One focus of the trade fair appearance is the extensive fischer screw range. The portfolio includes various structural timber, specialty, drywall and stainless-steel screws, each available with suitable head types (countersunk head, stepcountersunk head, disc head, panhead, hexagon head with integrated washer, cylinder head, trumpet head), drives (TX internal star as well as Pozidriv PZ and Phillips PH) and materials (stainless steel, electro-galvanized steel or phosphated steel). An optimized color-coding system on the packaging now makes orientation even easier. The packaging design clearly communicates all key information about the product, its applications and suitable base materials at a glance.

Highlights include the PowerFast II and PowerFull II timber construction screws, which impress with safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The fischer PowerFast II chipboard screw enables all types of wood-to-wood and wood-to-metal connections, as well as installation with tested and in some cases approved loads in fischer plastic anchors. New additions are PowerFast II chipboard screws made of stainless steel A2 and A4 for long-lasting outdoor applications. Particularly versatile is the fischer PowerFast II stepcountersunk head screw: it may be screwed flush with the surface of the timber component in compliance with its approval – like countersunk screws – achieves almost the same head pull-through load capacity as disc head screws, and thus reduces the number of variants required in stock.

Beyond the extensive screw range, fischer will also be presenting further innovations for optimized applications in wood at DACH+HOLZ. The fischer FIS EM Plus injection system for bonding in FIS A anchor rods or flush-mounted FIS IG internally threaded anchors enables the transfer of high tensile loads and offers a wide range of applications in engineered timber construction.
fischer also offers smart helpers in the field of construction chemicals, with solutions for filling, sealing, bonding, cleaning and protecting – ideal for roofing and timber construction. Hybrid adhesive and sealant systems stand out as reliable all-rounders for both interior and exterior applications. Proven technologies based on silicone, polyurethane and acrylate are also available. New: fischer PU-P EVO foam – thanks to an isocyanate content of < 0.1%, no PU safety training is required for professional users. The premium rapid-assembly and well foams are also equipped with the newly developed, particularly user-friendly fischer FixAdapter, which guarantees greater safety, convenience and efficiency on the construction site. fischer is also expanding its portfolio in the photovoltaic sector: at DACH+HOLZ, solar systems for the safe installation of PV systems on pitched roofs with all common roof coverings, as well as various arrangements and orientations of PV modules, will be on display. The new PV Clip including the FSMN M8 R sliding nut offers new possibilities for regenerative PV façades, either as a direct fixing or in combination with substructures such as the ATK 103 PV clamp system.

fischer focuses on comprehensive support for planners, tradespeople and retailers and aims to engage with visitors about its service offerings. Among other things, new features of the FiXperience design software will be presented. The FiXperience WOOD-FIX module enables simple, fast and approval-compliant design of timber construction applications using fischer screws. At the five-meter-high “Green Wall,” visitors can also learn all about the fastening expert’s commitment to society and the environment, as well as find out more about the fischer GreenLine – anchors made from at least 50 percent bio-based raw materials.

At DACH+HOLZ 2026, fischer will demonstrate how innovation, quality and practical applicability come together – and invites visitors to test the products themselves, experience the solutions live and take lasting impressions home from DACH+HOLZ.
