The owner, chairman of the holding company and chairman of the advisory board of the company, which was founded in 1948, is Prof. Klaus Fischer. Alexander Bässler is the CEO.

China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam. fischer employs a total of 4,800 people worldwide (as of the end of 2025) and is represented in around 120 countries with its own subsidiaries or sales partners.
