The Group of Companies successfully concluded the 2025 financial year despite a difficult overall market environment. fischer achieved 1.05 billion euros in sales despite the sale of its automotive division. The largest division, fixing systems, grew by three per cent on a currency-adjusted basis.
The group's broad international presence enables it to operate largely independently of negative geopolitical influences. fischer employs 4,800 people worldwide.
Successful on the market thanks to innovation
Outstanding projects in 2025 included the fastening of the façade of the Solitaire Mall in Riyadh and the delivery of installation systems for the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Chile – the world's largest telescope.
Digital solutions were also in high demand: fischer's Baubot robots drilled holes fully automatically, for example during the construction of the Cartesius urban quarter in Utrecht and in the Engelberg Tunnel in Leonberg near Stuttgart. The company also secured the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title with its robot. In 24 hours of continuous operation, the Baubot drilled 3,717 holes in concrete walls, floors and ceilings. It thus set new standards for construction robotics. In addition, fischer's sensor-integrated fasteners proved their worth in numerous projects, including the "blue fire Megacoaster" roller coaster at Europa-Park in Rust. In 2025, fischer launched numerous new products and systems on the market. These include the HybridPower, which combines the advantages of steel anchors and plastic plugs – strong and universal all at once. At the same time, the company consistently developed the use of artificial intelligence, robotics and digitalisation in the construction industry.
Nathalie Armbruster is the new brand ambassador
fischer has successfully added Nathalie Armbruster to its team of brand ambassadors for 2025. The 20-year-old is the overall World Cup winner in Nordic combined and a three-time World Cup winner. Together with Jürgen Klopp, one of the most successful football coaches in the world, Michael Jung, four-time Olympic champion in eventing, and decathlete Niklas Kaul, she is now part of the fischer brand ambassador team.
fischertechnik with a stable financial year
The fischertechnik division presented a stable overall picture in 2025. In the education sector, new learning concepts were implemented and the range further developed as part of the ComThink project initiated by the state of Baden-Württemberg. The toy sector benefited from high demand for technical construction and learning systems and was able to expand its sales and market position. This year, the fischertechnik and fischerTiP brands are presenting themselves on the market with further developments and an even stronger focus on creative, sustainable and technology-oriented play. At the same time, a new chapter is being opened – with product ranges such as miniMINT, nominated for the ToyAward 2026, and fischer for kids, which open doors to new target groups.
Proactive sustainability management honoured
The Group of Companies continued its proactive approach to sustainability in 2025. For its commitment, fischer was awarded the prestigious GREEN BRAND seal of approval for the second time in a row. The seal stands for transparent and verifiable sustainability performance and underlines the company's ecological responsibility.
Attractive employer and promotion of young talent
As an employer, fischer once again offered a wide range of entry-level opportunities in 2025: 16 apprenticeships and 14 dual study programmes. In addition, various talent pools prepare young professionals specifically for management and specialist careers within the group. With 129 apprentices, fischer is still training well above the industry average in 2025.
Outlook for 2026
The fischer Group of Companies is also planning for sales growth in the 2026 financial year.
fischer is investing in further growth with a new chemical plant at its former automotive site in Horb. The focus is on product ranges for structural retrofitting and passive fire protection.
With a new subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, fischer has recently established a presence in one of the world's most dynamic markets. It is the 51st operating company worldwide and based in the capital city of Riyadh. There are further locations in the cities of Jeddah, Dammam and Tabuk. Dammam is also home to a fischer production site.
This year, growth is also likely to be influenced by geopolitical conditions that are beyond the direct control of industry. Challenges continue to arise in Germany as a result of high energy costs and significant bureaucratic hurdles in the EU. The changed political situation has not yet led to any noticeable improvement in the conditions for family businesses, as neither the German government nor the EU are sufficiently addressing the concerns of companies and translating them into effective relief measures.
