fischer fixing systems in the Louvre Abu Dhabi

Art and culture from every country, era and category combined under one roof – this is the aim of the Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island. The emirate erected an architectural masterpiece for this purpose, with its charisma reaching beyond continental borders. fischer fixing systems were used for MEP applications (Seismic and Thermal expansion/contraction supports).

Elevated technology

It towers above every other building in Baden-Württemberg and contains Germany’s highest observa-tion deck: the elevator test tower of thyssenkrupp Elevator AG in the Swabian town of Rottweil. A 17,000 m² envelope made of a polymer-coated glass fibre fabric spirals its way around the main body, serving as the facade’s cladding. Heavy-duty fixings by fischer were used to anchor this membrane. The lantern gear rails of the installation shuttle were also partially anchored with fischer systems. A total of approximately 22,000 fischer products were used on the project.

fischer fixings expand the French capital

„Le Grand Paris” – is a project creating space in Paris, Europe’s most densely populated city. The project is uniting the capital with multiple neighbouring communities – not only territorially, but also through administration, city planning and new living spaces. The expansion of the public transport network is creating good connections. The existing route 14 has been expanded by six kilometres and five new stations. fischer steel anchors were used to securely fix the power lines.

Group of companies wins “Stein im Brett” award

During a survey throughout Germany, the construction information service ibau asked over 3,000 workshops who the best manufacturers and brands in the construction industry are. fischer came first place ahead of Hilti and Würth for the “fixing technology” product category, thereby winning the “Stein im Brett” award in its first year.

Times Square in New York is one of the world’s most visited sites, with approximately 30 million tourists per year. The fischer group of companies presented itself on one of the world’s largest digital advertising spaces where Broadway and Seventh Avenue meet.
