Jürgen Klopp is fischer's new Brand Ambassador, returning to his home

The long-term collaboration between the successful coach and fischer will commence on 1 January 2023. One of the most recognisable faces of the world of football is thereby returning to his roots, as Jürgen Klopp grew up near fischer’s headquarters. His father worked for the family business from Waldachtal in the Northern Black Forest for almost 35 years. The new partnership brings the story to a full circle.

“You are new, eco-friendly, cool, alternative, sustainable and green” – it was with these words that the fischer Group of Companies was initially informed by email that it was being presented with the Plus X Award for sustainability. The award honours companies that stand for a sustainable future with their sense of responsibility and foresight. Christian Ziegler, Head of Sustainability, Environment and Energy at fischer, is pleased about the award as it serves as confirmation of the company’s outstanding commitment once again.

fischer turnover grows to almost one billion euro in 2021

The fischer Group of Companies ended the 2021 financial year with great success. With a gross turnover of 988 million euro, the family business from Waldachtal in the northern Black Forest exceeded the previous year’s figures, reaching a record high with a turnover of almost one billion euro. At the same time, the company continued to increase its independence from the negative global influences of the Coronavirus crisis with its growth strategy. In total, fischer employs more than 5,400 members of staff, 200 more than in 2020.

Prof. Klaus Fischer donates 100,000 euro to integrative daycare centre after flood disaster

The owner of the fischer Group of Companies is supporting the reconstruction of a daycare facility for disabled and severely disabled children in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler with a donation of 100,000 euro following its heavy destruction. The donation will allow the facility to be rebuilt and enable urgently needed equipment and therapy devices to be procured.

Prof. Klaus Fischer awarded special honorary doctorate in Italy

Prof. Fischer was presented with the Honorary Doctorate of Engineering for Safety in Construction and the Industry in a celebratory setting at the University of Padua. The owner of the fischer Group of Companies received this special honorary doctorate in the presence of numerous friends, acquaintances, board members, Managing Directors and members of staff from Italy and Germany.
