A powerful anchor for the highest demands in wood construction

Applications can be carried out in a convenient, flexible and secure way with the fischer FAZ II Plus bolt anchor, be it installing beams and joists or fastening other timber constructions in concrete. The new addition now has a higher assessed (ETA) tensile load-bearing capacity and material strength than the previous generation. With a setting process (M6-M24) that’s quicker and easier as there is no need to clean the drill hole, the range of applications has significantly expanded.

Lasting protection on the water’s edge

St Mark’s Basilica is an architectural masterpiece and a landmark of Venice. In recent years, however, it has been repeatedly threatened by flooding. A glass barrier system will protect St Mark’s Basilica against future damage caused by high waters and flooding. Standing approximately 1.2 m tall, the glass barriers were permanently and securely anchored into the floor with the fischer FIS EM Plus injection mortar combined with fischer FIS A anchor rods.
