“fischerFinder” team wins MESH 23 hackathon

Students from all over Baden-Württemberg solved an exciting task for the fischer Group at the MESH 23 Hackathon. They took first place in the competition and were honoured by Minister of Science Petra Olschowski. The term hackathon is derived from the terms “hack” and “marathon”. The aim of a hackathon is to create useful, creative or entertaining software products together within a certain period of time, or to find solutions to given problems.

At the MESH Hackathon, students from all over Baden-Württemberg are working on problems relating to the UN’s sustainability goals, the so-called SDGs. Companies can face challenges that are then solved by teams.
